Description
The successful applicant must have a minimum qualification of NVQ level 3 or equivalent. Must be hard working, flexible, customer friendly and must be willing to learn new skills. Must be comfortable with the selling of products. Experience with Bare Essentials, Guinot comfort zone products would be beneficial but training will be given on site. CHEF DE PARTIE & COMMIS CHEF
We are seeking a Chef De Partie as well as a Commis Chef for our 1 rosette Atrium Restaurant.
The successful candidate must have a good knowledge and understanding of cooking as well as the skills to run larder section competently. Duties will include the preparation and serving of all the ala carte starters and salads, as well as stock rotation.
The candidate will also be required to do breakfast shifts during there working week consisting of a 6am to 3pm shift, the shift also has the added responsibility of cooking for conference delegates.
We have a regularly changing menu providing an opportunity for chefs to get dishes onto the ala carte & with the ever varying clientele we have here at Woodbury there is always something interesting going on.
The job includes laundered chef whites as well as 28 days holiday and discounted use of all the facilities such as the golf course gym etc.
The successful candidate will be required to work a standard 3 month probation period.
