Words from the General Manager

Happy New Year! I hope that you and your family have had a great festive break and looking forward to the year ahead.

On Christmas Day I was delighted to drop in some festive cheer at the A&E department at our local hospital as a small gesture from us here at Woodbury for their hard work and effort over an amazingly busy time.

There are exciting times ahead for us with our new appointments in our new Wellness Manager, Callum, and our new Head Chef, Gareth. Both bring a wealth of experience in their respective fields and I am sure that you will feel their addition to the team here in a positive manner. Full profiles on them will follow in the coming months.

We will be launching our new clubhouse menu, weekend member’s breakfast buffet, terrace dinner menu and in February we will be bringing back the Sunday lunch carvery. Please look out for further communication on these as they happen. 

We have also been working hard to put together a calendar of social events for members, friends & family. Some of these will be paid events and some will be at the invitation of the team here at Woodbury with our compliments. If you are attending a paid event this coming year, not only do you receive a member’s discount, you will also have the published discount applied back onto your membership levy – a win win! 

The team have also been organising some health, fitness and golf specific seminars which will be free to attend for members. Please look out for these when they are advertised.
